When Alberto Hernandez and I mixed this track, I told him I wanted the extended instrumental introduction to evoke drought and thirst. Then, when the vocals enter - extolling the divinity of woman and praising the power of the feminine - I wanted the listener to feel as if they'd had a taste of cool water.

Today, especially today, we all need a taste of cool water. Please accept this track as my gift — to all who are feeling parched and in need of restorative care.
